1. Where are your sessions held?

​

Sessions are held at my private studio space in Mosta, outdoors location on request or else at the clients' home. Newborn sessions are currently only done in home using ambient natural light. Posed sessions will be offered in the nearby future.

2. How much does a session cost and do you offer different packages?

​

Every session is priced differently according to various factors such as whether the session is a full or a mini session, the duration of the session and the type of the session that you have booked. When you reach out to me I will  send you all the information for the different packages for the session you are interested in.

​

3. What types of sessions do you do?

​

My speciality is babies and children hence my sessions revolve around the different stages from the gender reveal, maternity session, newborns (currently doing lifestyle), christening, babies (monthly sessions), sitter (6-10 month olds), cake smashes, birthday sessions and families amongst others. I also do seasonal Mini sessions such as Christmas and Carnival.

4. What do we wear for our session?

 

Neutral, plain and simple is always ideal for any type of session. Soft toned and solid colours work perfectly for family photos. I would advise against the use of big logos, mixed patterns as well as the use of characters on clothing. Soft pastels and earth colours would be ideal. Bright colours should be avoided. Colour coordination would be great when families are involved but of course this is not necessary!

5. How long does a session take?

​

This depends on the type of session that you are opting for. This can range from 30 minutes for a mini session to a maximum of 2 1/2 hours for a newborn session. This will be noted down in the package you choose.

6. Do you have props?

​

Yes I do have a variety of props depending on the type of session. I have wraps for newborns, flowers and bows for little girls, hats for cake smashes, baskets and different banners depending on the theme that the parents choose for their little one. I like to change and bring in new props for variety in my sessions and hence I cannot always promise that I will have the props shown in my portfolio hence if you have something in mind that you would like please let me know in advance of the session. I also have a good stash of high quality backdrops at my studio which you can choose from. At the moment in time, Helium balloons are not included in my packages and hence if desired will need to be provided by the client or else ordered through the photographer at an extra cost.  All props are disinfected and cleaned in between clients to ensure hygiene and safety for the little ones.

7. Can we bring our own props? 

​

Yes-definitely! A favourite plush toy/doll, hats or blankets are always welcome.

​

8. When will we receive the photos?

​

Your gallery will be sent to your email within a period of three days and you will have exclusive private access to your collection of images. From then onwards you will be able to select your favourite images (simple guideline will be provided).  Photos are edited within a period of 2 weeks from the date of final selection of your gallery (not when it was photographed). Selection of images needs to be done within a period of three months from the date of delivery of the gallery.

 

Birthday sessions are given priority so as to make sure that they are delivered prior to the birthday of the child. Having said that I always advise my clients to book their session at least 2-3 weeks in advance so that we have ample time for selection, editing and delivery of images.

8. Are pets allowed to participate in the session ?

​

Yes, furry friends are welcome as long as they are 'toilet trained' especially for studio sessions. We love Pets over here! They are an important part of the family :)

9. I am worried that my toddler/child will not cooperate. What happens in such a situation?

​

I understand that children of a certain age, especially toddlers may not want to sit down or stay still for photos. They usually would want to run around and explore :) This is understandable and I will try my very best to keep them entertained and make the session fun. Nevertheless I cannot guarantee that a certain amount of images are captured in situations where the children will not cooperate. 

​

10. What happens in case of an illness or bad weather for outdoor sessions? Can we reschedule?

​

Yes by all means! In these cases I will be able to reschedule a newer date around my availabilities and clients availabilities.

​

11. What about cancellations?

​

I require at least 24hrs notice of cancellation, otherwise you will forfeit your deposit. 

​

12.How will I book my session and what is the payment procedure?

​

To book your session, kindly send me a private message on my Facebook page-Little Blush Photography | Facebook. Alternatively you may message or call me on 99742404. A deposit is required at the time of booking. The remainder of the session is paid once images have been edited. If you add additional products, payment is required before the order is submitted to printers. This will also apply to extra images selected for editing. Packages are set as they are and are non-negotiable. Prices on packages are final, tax included and VAT exempt.

12. We do not wish to have our images shared on social media or any other types of promotional material. What is the procedure?

​

In line with the European Union GDPR law as well as a respect for parents decision, no images are uploaded or shared on social media without the parents consent and permission in writing. Model calls would also need to sign a Model release form before any images are released. 

​

13. Are we allowed to take photos during the session using our smartphone?

​

No please this is not allowed, however if you wish to capture some footage of the child being photographed to document it and share it on social media, then we would appreciate if you tag our page. 

​

13. Do you offer Gift Vouchers?

​

Yes I do! I have vouchers suitable as Gifts for Newborn babies as well as other types of vouchers that can be used for toddler/child, family and maternity sessions. Vouchers are valid from one year from date of purchase and cannot be redeemed for cash. Vouchers can be collected from my home in Mgarr or sent to you via local post. 

​

14. Do you provide the cake for Cake smashes?

​

At the moment, no cakes are included in the packages. Parents are to provide this themselves.  Recommendations of bakers will be provided by the photographer if desired. Cakes are to be free from any potential choking cake decoration hazards.

​

15. When is it ideal to book a Cake Smash session for my baby? What themes do you offer for Cake Smashes?

​

Due to my limited availabilities (family and other personal commitments) my calendar fills up months in advance, hence I would really recommend that you book your baby's first birthday session when baby is around 6-8 months of age. The earlier the better. Slots are on a first come first booked basis and cannot be guaranteed.

​

16. We wish to have a Birthday session for our soon to be one year old but not a cake smash- is this possible?

 

Yes, this is possible-I will take a variety of shots instead of the cake smash- more portrait photos, photos with siblings, parents; according to the package that is chosen. Packages are the same as the ones for Cake Smashes in terms of cost, number of digital images and prints.

15. Maternity session- when will it be best to book them?

​

Maternity sessions are best booked towards the start of your second trimester. The sessions are preferably done when you are between 30-34 weeks pregnant. Siblings, partners and pets can also join in the session.

16.Do you offer prints in addition to the digital image packages?

 

Absolutely!  If you would like a pricing list on prints, please contact me. 

 

I would appreciate if you take your time to read through the hereunder Terms and Conditions.

​

-Outdoor shoes are not permitted on the set. If they are to be used, they need to be cleaned from home and changed at the studio.

​

- No screenshots or raw images are to be shared online.

​

- No raw images are given out to clients as they do not represent the final product of my photography and artistic ability.

​

-Original images are kept for a maximum period of 6 months from the day of the shoot, after which no further images can be purchased.

​

- Whilst all safety measures are taken both at the studio or at the outdoor location, the parents are at to bear the ultimate responsibility of ensuring their children's safety during a session. NO POSES are done that I as a photographer deem to be of a hazard or a risk towards the baby and/or child. Safety is of utmost priority for me.

​

- My studio contains expensive props and backdrops that are used to create and capture beautiful images for your child/family and I would respect if care is taken around them. Breakages and damages must be paid for.

​

- Please arrive on time.  As a a photographer I have the right to reschedule the session should there be a delay of more than 30 minutes from time of scheduled session.

​

- The photographer's shortlisting of images suitable for editing that will be delivered to the online gallery is Final.

​

- All orders for prints and extra digital images are final and cannot be refunded.

​

- Editing is in line with my artistic style that can be seen through my portfolio that can be viewed on my website as well as social media- Facebook and Instagram. My editing includes basic retouching of the skin and removal of blemishes whilst keeping as much as possible a natural look to the images. Additional editing such as removal of braces and fixing of the nails amongst others is not done by myself but outsourced at an additional charge to an editor that specialises in such editing. 

​

- In the rare and unlikely event of lost or damaged images due to malfunction of camera equipment or computer software equipment, the photographer is to offer a full refund to the client or offer a reshoot as desired by the client.

​

- Should a session be cancelled due to the photographer's illness or other unexpected personal and family circumstances a new date for a session will be provided.

​
